My Quirky Boy

I know, it’s been forever.

Because I have been here:

And you know what, it was pretty freaking fantastic.  I have a TAN, a white girl tan, but its there.

2 weeks of beach days, sunsets, sand in your sheets, and walking to the corner store for a paper.  We were right across the street in a cottage from the shore.  I would go to the beach every morning, leave the place unlocked, and sit on the beach. Come back for lunch, have naps, and when we went back all our junk was still there waiting for us.

It’s like all these city people go there, forget they are city people, and become suddenly decent. Not just decent, but human. Myself included.  I must have read 5 books, I knit 2 hats, and watched no TV.  Many nights I sat on the couch in the quiet, alone, doing NOTHING. And it was freaking awesome.
