My Quirky Boy

I am a single parent Monday through Friday effective this week. Hubby has taken a job in Boston, and it is not really a daily commutable job. As a result I am the sole caretaker Sunday evenings, through Friday night. It hasn’t been too bad, the mad dash to daycare at the end of the day is a little tough, and we are all up much earlier.

As a result of the kid’s single parent status, Fin has taken over a little bit of the role of parenting Raven. She seems not to mind, but also doesn’t listen to his commands. The other night I lay out their jammies on the floor of their room and ask them to get themselves ready for bed. I left the room to get in my own jammies, use the potty, and then return to their room. I find Fin standing in front of the T-pee in their room holding the door flap closed.

“MAMA!”, he states, “THERE is an X-RATED BABY IN THERE!” He goes on to explain in a whisper, “That means she is NAKED!“.

Tell me please, someone, where do they get this stuff???
