My Quirky Boy

to me. Yes, indeed today is my birthday. And I turned 35, I really already did turn since I was born around 9AM.

The bad things I got for my Birthday:

A serious toothache. Funny thing about that is that the tooth on the opposite side is cracked and needs to be fixed. I had an appointment to get it fixed, but canceled because I was sick. Hubby says the first problem tooth got tired of me not listening to it, so it said, “Ok you won’t listen to me, but I bet you will listen to my friend Ted…”. Thus the real trouble begins.

At the little convenience store at work I bought a Vitamin Water, the guy at the counter put it in a bag, which I never ask for. I picked up the item by the bag, said bag rips, and my bottle drops onto the floor, busts open and liquid goes all over my legs.

Plus I am still miserably sick, and no one, I mean no one deserves to be sick on their Birthday.

The COOL things I got for my Birthday:

Lot’s of Birthday wishes - included was the nursery school class wishes at the baby’s school. They were all outside today when I went to pick her up and they all sang Happy Birthday!

A piece of cake from my co-workers from a fancy bakery.

Fin got a new block set from Zayde! (Yes that is a gift for me too!)

A super amazing sunset, followed by a near perfect moon!

A card from my friend Becca - that had a special gift inside - a subscription to Real Simple! This is a fabulous gift because I LOVE LOVE LOVE magazines.

Cupcakes with chocolate frosting from hubby, and Fin. Even though I told them no, it made me very happy. Oh, and in a tiny, tiny box next to them was some meringue cookies, and a couple coconut macaroons. (YUMMY)

My last Birthday gift to myself is going to be going to bed early.
